Hello, I am just wondering do you remember yours and Cain old forums?
You had GIMP Help forum as a sub-forum in the gallery, but it didn't show on the index page, but when you click on the Gallery you find inside it the GIMP Help sub-forum, can you tell me how to do that?
Please.

When I make a sub-forum it shows on the index page too, how can I put it only inside the forums, and don't show in the index page?

What board is hosting it or is it one that you are running yourself?

I can help you once you tell me as different forums are differently configured for this.

Okay, in forum management for a particular forum, there should be an attached to field (listbox or combobox). If you make that a forum, not a category it becomes a sub forum of the forum in the box.

Can it work on the bestgoo forums? because there are similar they are all one company I think.

Probably, it would be the same method if they are. Try it and see whether the option is there or not.

EDIT: Gamer, I just tried, but I figured that I am a donkey, because I didn't know from the beginning that you didn't understand me, I know what you have said, but when I put a forum into a forum on the index page it shows the sub-forum attached to the parent forum, I don't want the sub-forum to be showed in the index, I just want the sub-forum showed when someone enters that forum, did you get my point?

Oh, sorry I though you were asking about creating sub forums.

I know how to do it, I just need to do a quick look back at the admin panel as I forgot the exact feature name and location.

Edit: I'm guessing your admin panel just got changed too.

General Admin -> Homepage -> Hierarchy

Then for the sub level links on index, just make it so no is selected and save the changes. That should work.

But I fixed it as No, but it is still showing the sub-forum

This problem has occured to me to. If we could fix it, it would be great. I think it's just the way that forumation has it now.

No Cain, on your old forum is still working (The sub-forums are not showed on the index page).
So can you please exlapin to me the problem?
