- Hello Penguins!
You may have heard that Club Penguin is now a part of Disney and you may be wondering what does that mean? Over the last few months, Club Penguin has been looking for a company we could work with to help us not only add more cool stuff to Club Penguin, but to take Club Penguin throughout the world into many different languages. We wanted kids all over the world to be able to experience Club Penguin and we couldn’t do it alone. As far as the game is concerned, not much will change. Everyone on the Club Penguin Team will continue to work hard to make Club Penguin the best it can be. Our hope is that you don’t even notice a difference unless it means we’re making something better! Please let us know what you think and feel free to ask any questions. We’ll try to answer as many as we can! In other news: The new catalog comes out this week so be sure to check out all the great new clothes and camping gear!
Until then…Waddle on! - Club Penguin Team Posted by Billybob at 3:28 PM I wonder what this means? Will club penguin become more international friendly? or become better? What do you guys think?

| Let's look at the figures here, there are around 4 million CP active accounts, probably under a quarter of the remainder are members.
So that's 700,000 on average at $5 per month. This gives a nice total of $3,500,000, which is quite big.
Basically CP will run like normal, but use Disney to advertise their game, perhaps trying to launch their products in their stores maybe. Edited: Figures

| I just read about that in the news paper. Advertising will become much bigger and that means more members, more members also means more members on this forum. I'm guess everything will run the same except there will be even more people on. If Disney does add something to CP I wonder what it will be. | |

Penguin eats mouse. Means more popularity, more friends, and more freakish Hannah Montana fans. >=(
